• Roster - 224th AMC

    Technically, an Airborne Medical Company was initially organised in accordance with the T/O 8-37 dated September 5, 1942 and included 21 Officers and 195 Enlisted Men.

    In June 1944 a change in T/O authorizing 21 Officers and 187 Enlisted Men.

    On December 16, 1944, the T/O changed again and expanding the number of men to 27 Officers and 273 Enlisted Men. This change was authorized under T/O & E 8-87-T, dated December 16, 1944, effective at 00h01, March 1, 1945, per Letter Order, Headquarters, 17th Airborne Division, File 332 (AG), Subject: Reorganization of 17th Airborne Division, dated February 28, 1945.

    During the European Campaign, several units were also temporarily attached to the 224th Airborne Medical Company.
